The Tap & Track will allow you to keep track on your calorie by calculating your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) and finding the daily calorie needs of your body based on your gender, age, weight and height. The app also considers the type of the job you are into and applies the very well-known Harris Benedict Equation while doing the calculations.

Good database including SI units, fast to use with good features and useful offline help. The best functioning counter Ive tried.
Using the app on iPhone 5. Easy to use. Love the wheel for entering amount. Needs a bug fix for the crashes.
My opinion of this app is that it is great, especially as a iPod user. This is because of the data base built in to the app because I have no wifi at school and no 3G as I said because I have a iPod. The only improvement I could think of is letting the user create a real custom food with their own protein, calorie and other amounts. Other wise I was very impressed.
This definitely ranks up their with the Weight Watchers app and this is way more economical. I do have a problem with it shutting down every once and a while. And I cant seem to change the units so I am stuck being weighed in kilos instead of pounds. But for a free app, I am not going to complain. Maybe bug fixes in the full version??
This is a very handy tool. Very easy to use, it helps to have a visual of calories consumed each day.
Handy tool. Just need a free iPad version now, kind of clumsy on the iPad.

Some bad moments

Works fine on my wifes iPhone 4, but crashes my 3GS every time I try to add a customised food.
A nice app it could have been, but it crashes permanently, when i try to add a custom food!
Would be a nice app, if it wouldnt crash that often. Installed it, it crashed down more than five times, so I deleted it. German food would be nice too.
Keeps on crashing. Try to convert from KG to LBS and it crashes… dont think its compatible with iOS6. Too bad as the app has lots of promise.
Just downloaded this. Cant change the units to pounds from kilograms and every time I try it shuts down the app. Has a few other issues with resetting and locking up as well. Seems like a great app without the annoyances of freezing.
